THE GUARDIAN

Performance
The Guardian standing seam metal roof system has undergone the most stringent testing. To ensure that, once assembled on your home by one of our Certified Installers, what matters most to you is protected. No longer do you have to worry about protecting your loved ones or your belongings when a major storm approaches. Whether along the coastal regions of the Southeastern U.S., or along the Pacific Northwest rain belt, The Guardian is designed to withstand the toughest weather.

Florida Building Code
Due to the frequency of hurricanes, Florida boasts the toughest building codes related to wind.
The Guardian and its components met or exceeded Florida performance requirements in independent lab tests.

Wind Driven Rain
Providing a transferrable, Limited Lifetime Warranty against leaks that is NOT voided by named storms, your Guardian roof will outperform every other roofing system. Installed by dedicated craftsmen who have undergone extensive training and years of field experience, your new Guardian roof will keep the rain on the outside where it belongs. Though we believe it would withstand it, if a cow crashes through your Guardian roof you'll need to call your insurance company, (the lab didn't have a cow we could use for testing, plus we like cows).

Uplift Pressure
Wind uplift testing evaluates a roof's resistance to upward wind pressure, a crucial aspect of building safety and durability. It simulates the forces exerted by wind on a roof, measuring how much pressure the roof assembly (including membrane, insulation, and fasteners) can withstand before failure. This testing helps determine a roof's ability to withstand high winds, especially in hurricane-prone areas, and is often performed to meet specific building codes and insurance requirements.

Florida Building Code refers to uplift psf (pounds/square foot) values. Many factors play into this calculation including surrounding buildings or trees that may block or reduce wind speeds, occupancy and expected usage of the building, and elevation along with historical wind speeds from named storms in the area.
The Guardian Roof System protected as it was designed during independent lab testing. Exceeding pressures equivalent to more than 325 mph winds*. The Guardian System is warranted to remain attached to the sheathing on your home regardless of what winds may attempt to blow it off.
