Are you located in the Florida HVHZ area of Miami-Dade, Broward Counties? You will need specifically designated approval codes listing "HVHZ"

Within 1500 ft of salt or brackish water, you'll want to consider Aluminum roofing panels due to their resistance to corrosion.

Otherwise PVDF / Kynar coated steel is most likely the best material. 

 

Your roofing substrate will also help determine which panel material you need. Most coastal properties will be sheathed with plywood or solid lumber plank decking. Inland in Florida we see more OSB decking. Plywood will provide you with better wind uplift and higher pullout values than OSB.
